Business travel is being closely monitored to ensure we maintain our target to keep business travel emissions below 50% of pre-pandemic levels. Through supplier partnerships we are increasing the use of more efficient, electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles for business travel.
One of the largest UK offices has moved to more energy efficient, EPC B rated and BREEAM Excellent building. This is an all-electric building and used air source heat pumps for heating and cooling which will support future portfolio decarbnosation. Energy efficiency continues to be prioritised in existing office space, with ongoing programmes of retrofit for LED and PIR sensors in offices where payback can be achieved within existing lease terms.
