Scope 2
Energy Efficiency (Lighting and Appliances)

Energy Conservation: Our efforts included strategic adjustments to lighting levels, temperature, and other building systems to avoid unnecessary energy consumption as we adapted to new levels of onsite working. Most of our data centers now incorporate hot/cold aisle containment. In addition, we continued to execute projects aimed at enhancing the energy efficiency of both cooling and IT equipment, retrofitting lighting systems, and optimizing the operational efficiency of our building infrastructure.

Supplier engagement

Suppliers must provide evidence that their sources have been certified by an accredited third-party certification program such as the Forest Stewardship Council, Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification, Sustainable Forestry Initiative, or the Canadian Standards Association Group Sustainable Forest Management System standard.
